I support this. It's hypocritical that 'mature art' is not allowed and results in a ban, but yet more graphic pictures of REAL PEOPLE are not only allowed under the "fetish photography" etc categories, but they are regularly made into DDs.

First!......... It wasn't my friend or I, It was an artist that i knew........ I know it might be naive to say this but I don't think anyone belives themselves above the law thay just want to post their work for gods sake!.... OH! and "worship" Its not my problem if do it..... I like their pics and thats about it. I didn't thought about that actualy

i don't know if other artists stuff is tasteful or not, nor do i care. but, once again, and try to pay attention this time, if you draw something, and it looks fucking amazing to you, by all means, post the shit out of. however, if you draw PORN, and you think it's fucking amazing, DON'T post it somewhere where it's not allowed. furthermore, don't fucking complain cuz you OR YOUR FRIEND got kicked out for not following the rules. NO i don't think these people had bad intentions, i just think that they somehow got in their heads that they are "above the law" if you will, and thought they could get away with porn on DA. if they wanna show that shit, they should've gone somewhere else with it. whatever made them think they could get away with it, they didn't. go find them on whatever porn site they retreated to and worship them there.

what the fuck does not being from the U.S. or great britain have to do with not knowing a damn language but still trying to speak it? well i'm not from france or spain so i'm gonna start slipping in random french and spanish words. yeah, im gonna look like a fucking genius cuz i can speak three languages.

How do you know if for the artist these pics are TASTEFUL as you say? I mean If I have a picture I really like and i think it came out really really well and it is a nude or a couple I would like to post it in deviant to know if it's as great as i think............by the way ..... do you think that people who post these pics have bad intensions? most of the them just want to show their pics, no fuck with peoples minds ....... Oh! and about "everyone likes them" I know some people that got banned and didn't have a great amount of pageviews ......

And about the "random japanese words" It's because I'm not from the US or british and that's the way i talk and write, too bad you have an issue with it I don't think it's "cool" I just do it because i want ....... 9__9

i agree that people should be allowed to share their art, but if the rules say "don't post your porn here" and they still do, they deserve to be banned. the mature filter that DA uses is for the people that post TASTEFUL nudes, violence/blood/gore, cussing words and stuff like that that parents still don't want their kids seeing and people that just don't want to see nudes and gore.

so once again, if people want to post their porn or look at it, go to the millions of other sites where it is allowed.

supporting people who can't follow the rules just because they think they can get away with cuz everyone likes them is ridiculous. also...whether you wanted a reply or not, here it is.

oh and one more thing, why the fuck do people thing it's so cool to spout random japanese words in an otherwise entirely english paragraph?

Deviantart doesn't want the lawyers to come knocking after they find out some 13-year-old has made every single one of their official images into a wallpaper. That's totally unrelated to what this club was created for.

Tell your friend to stop using images she didn't create herself. That applies to all art on this site, not just wallpapers.

I have friends who keep getting their deviations deleted. But they're only wallpapers of people. (i.e. Hyde, LARUKU, GACKT, etc.) What the hell's going on? They didn't do anything bad to it, they just made wallpapers!

... I really hate artists who feel the need to get comments and pageviews for themselves and never bother to look at your gallery as they have claimed. If you want comments, leave a comment for your fellow artist. Don't just spam every main gallery with the same witty compliment.

Anyone else bothered by this? Support this? Doesn't care in the least bit? Let's discuss. Or not.
